There are many types of Content Management Systems out there, we know as we have worked with a wealth of them over the years, different CMS suit different applications or requirements.
We are conscious of the need to offer content management solutions which are fast, straightforward, affordable and future proofed against standards compliance.
Depending on your internal needs there are generally two types of solution we offer:
- Off the Shelf Solution – Built on opensource the CMS sits on the actual site, site is then built on this, users with the correct permissions can then edit content within a page, create new pages, upload graphics or files and carry out other web site maintenance tasks without a need to understand the language the site is written in. WordPress, Joomla, Typo3 are examples of Off the Shelf solutions
- Tailored / Bespoke Solution – This has the same initial functionality as the “off the shelf”, but with the added benefit of being built specifically for your requirements, plus we can build on this to offer new modules, so there is better future proofing with this system.
We can advise on which system best suits your requirements.
There are other ways of keeping content on your site current, such as RSS Feeds or Blogs. Enhance can integrate an existing Blog or RSS feed into your website, so that you can update your Blog in the usual way, but your content will be published to your website as well as your blog.
